Ludwig van Beethoven Bio
Beethoven was born on Dec. 16, 1770 in Bonn, Germany. His father was a musician like Beethoven. Beethoven began to study music
in 1775. While he was learning music, he had to end formal school.
When he was going everywhere and giving concerts, he met Mozart in 1787 and Haydn in 1790 because he was famous. He was the
head of the family. Before he was the head of the family, everybody thought Beethoven would be a musician and follow Mozart
He made nine symphonies. The one I like the best is Symphony number 5. On his mother's birthday, he made a
birthday song for her. His mother was happy.
The really important idea is that he liked music very much! So he made many melodies. He even wanted to make melodies when he
was young.
He became totally deaf when he came back from traveling. He couldn't hear, so he had to write everything down, even if he
wanted a glass of water. He was deaf, but he made songs for someone who he liked, known only as the "Eternally Beloved." He
didn't marry with her because he had to do a lot work making symphonies, so he just left. That's why he made a song for her and
he sometimes dreamed about her.
The last song was Symphony number 9. He was very ill and couldn't walk. He died in 1827.
I think he is famous because he did very hard work and wrote songs. I like his songs and his life. Pictures
