The Only Jazz Album You’ll Ever Need

The Only Jazz Album You’ll Ever Need
Customer Review: disaster strikes
for years now I’ve been spending the old hard-earned on Mingus this and Miles that, with me Blue Note and ECM….crikey noone told me some clever individual had done all the work for me and boiled it all down to this - the only jazz album I will ever need. What a load of money and time I’ve wasted…if only the ‘only album you’ll ever need’ would get on and cover all the other types of music or better still stop messing about and make the one and only ultimate only double album of music of any description you’ll ever need and we can buy it and forget the whole thing..hurry up and sort it out someone.
Customer Review: A Good Starter
As can be seen by the track listing , there is a great selection of both classics and modern numbers . Glenn Miller rubs shoulders with Sting , but without any lack in the feel or continuity of this double album set . There are familiar numbers from television , instrumentals , and solo artists' interpretations of jazz numbers from over the years . The CDs are split into Disc 1 - “Swingin'” , and Disc 2 - “Chillin'” , which gives you some idea of the mood of each . All in all a great introduction to jazz .
