Customer Review: Think Pink.
I don’t think the colour looks anything like what it does in the photo. Its a lot brighter. More like a bright barbie pink. =/ At first, I hated the colour. But then I adjusted to it and rather liked it (alot). Its different, and stands out. Young girls will love the colour. (Especially if they are into girly things), but you don’t have to be a girly girl to like it- it just takes time. If you are looking for a colour thats a bit more modern maybe you should go for the silver, or one that won’t attract attention - the black. Though, I think the pink PS2 is an acquired taste =/ Oh..and the PS2 is fun =]

High Resolution 7.2″ STN Colour Screen (PS2)
Customer Review: A good screen with a few flaws
This screen caught my eye in the shops a few days ago and needing a way to play games at university I picked it up.
The screen slots on top of the old style of PS2 and filps open, the screen is central and quite large for what it is. Just under the screen is the power button, brightness and volume control and a switch for SRS. On the sides of teh monitor there is 2 headphone slots and a switch to switch between dvd and game mode.
On dvd mode the screen becomes slightly blurry with very vivid colors, i’ve not really played many dvds with this mode as i’ve only just got it recently.
With the game mode the screen is very very sharp, the colors are sadly duller then dvd modes. I’ve tested it with about 15 diffrent games from RPGs to racers and so far i’ve found the picture quality consistently high and it very easy to see what’s happening on screen.
Sadly this screen has two major drawbacks.
Firstly it doesn’t have 60hz support which means you wont be able to play import games or use the 60hz option some games have.
Secondly the screen forces widescreen, any game without a widesreen option will be stretched to fit the screen making whatevers on screen look fatter then it really is.
My last complaint is just a minor one, but the screen only gives you the option to adjust brightness this makes it impossible to adjust ither settings such as color or contrast, this is a shame as only the blurry dvd setting offers the vivid color setting I would like to use.
Overall i’ve found it to be a great product, being a student there’s no way I could afford a tv and liscense so this was an affordable option that offers a great deal for the price you pay. It’s just a shame theres no way to adjust teh majority of the settings on the screen.
Customer Review: PS2 On the Move - varying quality
I bought the Joytech screen for the long journeys I make up to the North of the country regularly and wanted to be able to play my favorite games as well as watch DVDs.
The Screen comes with two play modes, one for games and one for DVDs.
Having received it today, I was disappointed with the quality of the picture. It’s particularly bad for my absolute favorite game, Pro Evo Soccer 4. The screen doesn’t seem to cope too well, this may be down to the size of the players and speed of game play . It does work better with a game that uses larger characters and text such as Smash Court Tennis and Boxing games.
I tried the classic action movie Leon and was pleasantly surprised with the results. It provides an adequate picture and on the whole is better for watching DVDs.
It’s easy to setup and use and makes a nice bit of travel kit for the car. The picture quality will vary from game to game and I suspect for movies too. However, it beats counting Eddie Stobart trucks on the M1.
