Customer Review: Top DVD - Poor Packaging
Having seen Genesis on this tour, at Old Trafford, they truly were a ‘Dream in the Theatre’. This DVD is recorded at the Circo Massimo in Roma, and it is excellent, it lasts for hours and you get a documentary DVD included. It really is good. However, I am disapointed by the actual packaging - which is made from card on the outside, with lightweight, cheap looking plastic inside - to hold the DVD’s. I’m really not impressed ! One could argue, and say that it is the contents (the disks) which are the important part … fair comment, but, I happen to like good presentation for things which are important to me - and this most certainly is not what I call good presentation. When it arrived, the DVD casing had broken on one corner. I put this down to the postman shuvving it through the letter box - a conventional DVD box would not have broken. I am not best pleased with the outer packaging after it was weak enough to allow damage to the contents. Probably won’t buy any more CD’s and DVD’s from Amazon again.
Customer Review: Well worth the wait
Albeit the release was delayed it was well worth the wait.Picture, sound, lighting & the overall show were second to none. These guy’s have to go down as one of the best live acts & musicians of all time.As for the idiot who thought this was dull he/she obviously has no appreciation of good music & spectacular shows.I was at the gig in Paris and was gutted I couldn’t get to Rome for the last European show but the DVD will certainly do the job.Only downer for me was that Abacab wasn’t part of the live set but that aside watching the DVD was like being back in Paris last June again and one of the highlights I’m sure a lot would agree was Chester & Phil on teh stools. The guy’s can make music from anything.Long live the men in black!!!!!!!!!!

Customer Review: This Game Changed My LIFE !!
My love of music started when i was very young. As close as i got to make music then though was shutting my eyes whilst listening to my walkman and pretending i did. However when this game came on the scene it changed all that. Firstly, you may be thinking “But its on playstation 1!? Surely it can’t be any good now?” Thats where you’d be wrong! Its newer counterparts (MTV Music Gen 2 + Music 3000) are less user friendly and feature (With Very Little exception) an identicle set of single note samples. Where the PS2 Versions may boast better sound quality, Music 2000 is my only choice (even now) to get ideas down quickly before i forget. This game is a must for anybody starting out who wants to make their own music, or should i say “Software” cause it isn’t REALLY a game. Back to how it changed my life, put simply, if it wasn’t for Music 2000 I wouldn’t be producing music today. Try it you won’t regret it!

Customer Review: Great for an absolute beginner
I have no lessons other than this DVD and the Dummies book and I feel like I’m making real progress. The approach is very practical - getting you to play something as early as possible, and I found that very motivating. The style of presentation is light hearted and not at all intimidating. I’m really pleased with this purchase and would reccommend it to any other newbie.
Customer Review: Basic learning guitar
Although i have had a guitar for over 45 years i have not really taken to it seriously i can play all basic cords and pick out songs i know on the strings and accompany songs that i know well.My oldest son gave me this DVD along with Learning Guitar for Dummies second edition this xmas. Back to the DVD i found it easy because i new most of it already but i found it very helpful and inspiring and it got me practicing again.I believe this DVD with Jon Chappell taking you step by step,is a great starter for anyone wishing to learn to play guitar, it is so easy to follow children will grasp it in no time.Great value at twice the price i highly recommend it.Keep up the good work JON.From Brian.B
