Customer Review: Masterpiece
This is a very good album and even features some ultra-rare variants of popular songs like “Love Machines” by The Girls Aloud and “It Is A Sin” by Pet Shop Boys. It is not as “mixed” as you may have been led to believe though, with songs often just vaguely blending into one another. Infamous mixmaster McSleazy is capable of much better, although it is still a work of art. Overall: Perfection.
Customer Review: 100% pop… 100% brilliant
This album has one aim… to get us listening to pop again. And when the pop is this good then why wouldn’t we? The album is wonderfully mixed together making it one huge dancefest and even poppy remixes of some indie tracks sitting alongside of mainstream pop songs and some obscure (and even exclusive) songs. Highlights include… Love Machine Demo by Girls Aloud - the only place this is available… with completely different lyrics to the original. It takes a while to get used to but you can still dance to it! Chelsea by Stefy - this is great, it samples the Eurythmics and is simply sublime… Lights Go Out by Client - another exclusive, and its amazing! Dear Jimmy by Sophie Ellis Bextor - A brand new track from the fabulous Bextor and oh-my-god… its great Biology - Radio Edit/Lamezma Remix by Girls Aloud - This was by far one of the best moments on the whole CD… words really can’t describe how great this is so I won’t try Although I admit I am a fan of the Popjustice website I haven’t always checked out the artists they recommended to me, well now I have and I will checking out more of them. The quotes on the front sum this up perfectly so I’ll end with those… “Genius - 22 tracks of eccentric and euphoric pop” NME “Popjustice has impeccable taste” Guardian “I’ve been waiting my whole life for this album” Cheryl Cole

Customer Review: What a wicked game!
Bought this for my friend for xmas and we all had the most fun we had had in ages, i wish i owned a ps2 now! Younger kids tend to struggle with it a bit as the new music is quite a large range. There are so many levels, i only wish there was an expansion pack so you can add more songs/questions as i have seen them start to repeat. Well worth the money though.
Customer Review: Excellent but fault at start
The game is excellent. Newer music is perfect for me and my friends who are around 20 years of age. Those a bit younger tend to struggle a little. However the first game a received had to be returned as two of the buzzers didn’t work.

FIFA 2001 The beautiful game is back, large as life and twice as impressive on the Playstation 2. The game, as with Led Zeppelin’s song, remains the same, but this is by far the best looking of the Fifa family, with the power of Sony’s newest family member, Fifa 2001, really being used to good effect with a variety of camera angles provided for your viewing pleasure and some of the best-looking character modelling you’ll have seen in ages.

So, it looks great, but does the footy match up to the quality of the visuals? This is a little difficult, as the answer is both yes and no. The action is certainly quick and varied, with play up and down the field moving at a good pace and the control system, which utilises the DualShock controller’s analogue buttons, is smooth and fairly intuitive.

Where the play tends to fall down, however, is in the artificial intelligence afforded to your team-mates. There is a tendency for your teams hearty front line, swooping towards the opposing goal line, to be chased by your own midfield like a pack of tame dogs, reminiscent of school football.

Still in evidence are the guaranteed goal “sweetspots”–positions from where you can close your eyes and bag an easy three points against the computer and it seems a little too easy at times to thread the ball into space around the opposition’s goal and take a shot at the net.

These gripes aside, however, the rest of the game is nothing short of a delight to play. John Motson’s commentary is nicely balanced and doesn’t intrude too far into the atmosphere and the funky intro tune does it’s best to jolly things along.

Add in details for 60 real-life teams covering UK and European leagues and competitions, the fabulous instant replay facility and a second joypad to allow head-to-head play (a must-buy to get the best from this game) and what you have is a recipe for a top night in and one of the most impressive PS2 titles available. –James Gordon
Customer Review: If I bought this when I first got in to football then I’d love it but because it was not I like it
I think this is quite enjoyable when you simulate matches in tournaments but the match control is awful but that does not put me off the game though. In 2000 and 2001 people would rate it 5 star but compared to fifa 07 it is poor but I think it is quite good
