The Sims (PS2)
Six months ago Yael Naim was a little-known singer-songwriter from Israel living quietly in France. She had spent two years recording songs with her musical partner, West Indian percussionist David Donatien, in her Paris apartment. The pair’s pace Continue
What the hells happening with pop music? I was looking at the charts for a couple of decades ago and the difference in quality (compared to todays charts) is just, to be frank, ridiculous. It’s as if the artists don’t care AT ALL about the music and Continue

Customer Review: This collection of Grunge
If you love late 80’s and early 90’s grunge then i strongly recommend you should buy this album. It has a great selection of tracks from big bands such as Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees and the most important band in the world Nirvana etc. Sub Pop brings out its raw talent on its record label and it sounds so amazing.
Customer Review: mmm…grunge…
This SUB POP compilation sees the cream of the Seattle crop before the grunge explosion. Nirvana and Soundgarden, the front-runners of the scene appear together on their usual great form. But this CD is also a must as it includes tracks by many under-rated bands, such as Scraeming Trees and Tad. If you like you’re rock hard and grungey, then this is for you!!!

Buzz! Junior Jungle Party Bundle (PS2) Customer Review: Buzz Junior - Jungle Party, Play Station 2
Strictly for children from ages 4 to 7. Some patient adults like parents, grand-parents, baby-sitters can get some enjoyment out of this Buzz Junior game DVD but mostly the kids will have fun with it, specially when you have three or four players. Comes with four custom made paddles with a four color coded guide to teach your young ones about colors. Good graphics. Main downside of this DVD game is that your offspring is likely to grow out of this game very quick.
Customer Review: buzz
Game is spoilt because only 2 buzzers out of 4 were working but its really good. There are loads of different games to play and you can play with 4 3 2 or 1 players I love it!

The Sims (PS2)
The bestselling PC game of all time is finally making its console debut: The Sims allows console gamers to create and control their own little computer people with new level-based gameplay and swankier 3-D graphics.
Many would have assumed that The Sims could never work on a console, but one look at this version proves them wrong. In fact, with the temptation to fall back on a mountain of confusing mouse-operated icons and online patches removed, this could well be the definitive version. For starters, the graphics now look much better than before, being in full 3-D instead of just isometric 2-D. This not only looks better but also allows you to zoom in and out on the action and feels a lot less sterile than the original. Things are still as customisable as ever too, especially via the Create-a-Sim option.
Perhaps the biggest change to how the game plays on consoles is in the new level-based missions. The PC original had no real goal; you just designed a family and let them get on with it, interfering with their virtual life as much or as little as you wanted. The console version adds some goals and rewards to the gameplay, which should help to attract the more attention-deficient among console owners. There’s even a rather odd two-player mode, which, even if it seems a little pointless, is yet more proof that EA are really trying to make this a proper worthwhile console experience and not just the cheap cash-in many would’ve expected. –David Jenkins

Customer Review: The Sims
I thought that the Sims is a very good game and has good graphics, but some parts of it can be very challenging and can be diffucult to go up a career level. The game has many good aspects of it for example getting to design houses and put Sims in them. I would reccomend it to anyone that is thinking of buying it as it is a very good game and I really enjoy playing it.
